Pisa is a charming small town with not much to see except "Square of Miracles" ("Piazza dei Miracoli" is often called as "Campo dei Miracoli" as in the book "Pinocchio"), the Campanile (Leaning Tower) included! The Tower was built in 1173 and started leaning almost immediately. It took over 800 years to come up with some "advanced" technological innovation (by 1990 it was 4,5 m out of vertical) and another 11 years to fix it. In 2008 the general public was assured that it had been stabilized for at least another 200 years.
Looking forward to it!
